Have you ever listened to a song and it brought tears to your eyes? I have a few of those songs. I listened to them and I could not help but shed tears.
This is because of the period and the kind of mood I was when I listened ti the songs.

But I have to admit, I’ve gotten emotional a few times when listening ti some songs.

Has it happened to you too?

I'd say 'Coward Of The County' by Kenny Rogers. The character that Rogers gave us in the song shows that there is a monster lying in us, and that monster eventually comes out when we've had enough.
Absolutely relatable.

Man, I have a lof of songs that makes me feel that way, but my top 10 are:
Halo by Beyonce
The Chain by Fleetwood Mac
Do You Realize? by The Flaming Lips
Hey Jude by The Beatles
In My Life by The Beatles
In My Heart by Moby
I'm Not In Love by 10cc
Construção by Chico Buarque
Under The Bridge by Red Hot Chili Peppers
I think I missed some songs of my main playlist, but Is fair enough!

We can turn to heroes to protect the people we love. That is what happened to Tommy in the song. It’s a lesson not to underestimate anyone because they look calm.

It is always very emotional listening to any song of heartbreak and betrayal. There are so many music that centers on that aspect of human relationship which is very touching. Songs like I Will Always Love You by Whitney Houston and Un-Break My Heart by Toni Braxton are good examples.

Well heartbreak songs are known to stir up emotions in the listeners, especially if they are fresh out of a relationship. Whitney Houston songs can surely stir up such emotions.

Thats a looong list! Those songs by the Beatles are fire by the way.

There are many songs that I listened which brought tears to my eyes. I enjoy mostly blues, there gets more emotional lyrics than other genres.

Its not surprising to see or hear that the Gen zs knew about them. The same way with Westlife and Michael Jackson are known to them too.
These artistes songs are still popular till today. There are places and events you will go and they still jam Westlife and MJ. Those ones cannot fade out easily.

Emotional Punjabi songs hit hard because they turn real-life feelings into soulful stories with powerful lyrics and heartfelt music. Whether it's love, loss, or longing, the emotion in every beat makes you feel seen and understood. Songs like "Many" by Nijjar, "Qismat" by Ammy Virk, "295" by Sidhu Moose Wala, "Tareefan" by Jordan Sandhu, and "Judaai" by Harbhajan Mann are perfect examples—they don’t just play in your ears, they echo in your heart.

I don't used to hear those artistes' songs much like when I was younger. Those days, their songs are everywhere and people dancing to them too including me.

Don't Need Love by Phoenix tha rapper had me reeling in hard because it's how ladies treat men today. If you don't have money, they are never going to love you.

Definitely Sophie by Bear's Den, I radomly found this song on Spotify, and the song lyrics are realy touching, I have downloaded it from Spotify and loop for almost the whole day. This song describes the death of a loved one, and the helplessness and deep regret touched me.

If you listen to the song especially when you’ve lost a close family or friend you will even feel it better. It has happened to all of us.
