When artistes release a song, some make use of popular celebrities and influencers to play the song in their skits, in an attempt to give it a wider recognition.
How effective is this promotion strategy?

It is very expensive for you to use influencers to promote your song because a lot of them change so high for this service. It is only a few celebrity that will do this for an upcoming artist for free.

This is actually a very good way to promote a song. Many times I have looked up a song I heard from a skit or promoted by an influencer.

The ones that can help you promote the songs should be those who are passionate about the particular song or like you as a person. Such sentiments won't matter because here you are getting value for money spent.

Do you have the fans and followers those influencers have? No! So, yes it's very good to work with them especially when it comes to helping boost your songs reach and the popularity of the artist.

It's a very effective strategy because it works. There are several songs that influencers have pushed down our throat, you see it in every of their contents and you won't do anything than to like it.

I work in a marketing agency, and we have helped artists promote their music through social media influencers. In my experience, influencer marketing on social media can give good results, especially for visibility and engagement. However, you need to choose influencers whose audience genuinely connects with the music.
