I've been able to tally the record of what genre sells most in my state and it appears that Rock tops the sales in my state with 44% sales growth, it's followed by R&B/Hip-Hop and Pop as the 3rd best sales.

Rap and hip hop is the music genre that usually sells very well in my state because there are so many youth who enjoy listening to this kind of music genre. They are the ones that are helping to boost that part of the music industry.
