How does music transcend language?

Whenever I hear the question - How does music transcend language? The first answer that comes to my mind is that music can be appreciated by any one all over the world without having to understand the language. The rhythm and bits of the music says a lot more than what the language used to sing it says.

What are your thoughts on this?

Music is that force that speaks directly to our hearts, we don't need interpretation or translation in order to understand music. It's a language that everyone can understand, regardless of the words they speak or the culture they come from. It brings people together. Music can tap into our deepest emotions and speaks to the core of our being.

I believe music is food for the soul. I feed my soul some good music whenever that I am feeling down and down casted and it has been a good journey for me doing this for a number of years now.
