Ballroom dancing is very much so better practiced and learned with a partner, there are times however when you are not able to have a partner but would still like to practice and learn ballroom even when you are on your own.

Luckily there are ways in which you can practice and learn ballroom dancing without a partner if you don't have one or your partner is not available at the time.

Practicing your posture and your routines is something you can do alone and this can help you better prepare yourself for when you do go back to practicing with your partner whenever that may be.

What other tips do you have for someone who is learning ballroom dancing but whose partner is not available?

One of the best ways to learn anything including ballroom dancing is at home on your own. You have the ability to be able to learn without the worry of anyone saying anything to you and that can help you learn better and stay focused on learning.

It's never easy when you don't have a partner at the time you want to learn but being able to work on posture alone works best.

My auntie used to go ballroom dancing once a week and throughout the week before Friday evening, she would always practice at home either with her steps or with her posture so that she was ready for Friday evening with her partner.

Sometimes she would practice with her partner but if he was not available, she found it easier to practice at home on her own.

There's no kind of dance videos you won't see on YouTube or even more on TikTok now. TikTok is the biggest and most popular app now for posting videos.

If you paid attention very well on how those who dance in those videos on YouTube or TikTok, there's a good chance you can learn how to dance.

If you have access to watching how it's done and you're committed to learning it by practicing all the time, it won't take long before you learn how to dance it. It's how I learnt all the dance I know how to do so well today.

There are so many channels for you to follow on YouTube where they are instructing people on how to get into this kind of dance and once you're committed to learning from those YouTube videos, it is going to be easy for you to master the dance.
