I just have a thought. Any song that I choose as a favorite made me remember a particular memory, pleasant or not.
This is tied to almost all my favorite songs.

Yes I agree that music often can make people connect and relive those good times and strong vivid memories, sometimes from way back in the past. Maybe i wouldn't remember without that particular excellent song...
But I can also just love the feeling I get from a song. As music can create great new experience in the now and near future too oh yes
