What could make a musician stand out?

Anyone willing to excel in the music industry should understand that there are a lot of factors that separate the best from the rest. In your opinion, what would you say make some musicians stand out from the rest?
 
I'd say the authenticity. A lot of musicians these days just churn out generic songs that we are tired of listening to over and over again. But when an artiste cones out with that uniqueness and creativity, he definitely will get my accolades.

The advent of AI and chatgpt today has made it worse. There are very few original songs and lyrics these days, most of them are the works of AI.

Trust me no one will ever rate a song that is generated with AI. I am sure there are still special musicians that will not go down this route, we can see that in the quality of music they give us.
 
It's very important for me to understand whatever a musician is singing in a song. This is the reason why I pay a very detailed attention to the lyrics of any song that I listen to.
